Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) is the primary public transportation provider throughout a 285-square mile area of Monterey County, with connections to Santa Cruz County in Watsonville; to Santa Clara County in Gilroy, Morgan Hill and Watsonville; and to Paso Robles in San Luis Obispo County. MST’s 60 bus routes serve nearly 5 million passengers annually.
Operating every hour, seven-days-a-week, MST’s award winning Carmel Valley Grapevine Express transports visitors and locals alike from downtown Monterey to the wine tasting rooms of CArmel VAlley. An all-day pass on the Grapevine Express is $8.00 ($4.00 for seniors, disabled, active-duty military, and Medicare card holders).
