The National Steinbeck Center is a multi-sensory museum offering three distinct visitor experiences exploring literature and history, agriculture and art. In the John Steinbeck Exhibition Hall, experience a journey through six themed theatres with film clips and exhibits illustrating Steinbeck’s life and works. In the Rabobank Agriculture Museum, explore the stories of the Salinas Valley “from field to fork” through interactive displays and hands on exhibits. In the Gabilan & Pearl Galleries, enjoy changing art and cultural exhibits. The Center is a not for profit museum, offering many educational programs. The Center is also a unique special event venue, with facilities for groups from 25-700 people.
