Asleep at the Wheel at Galante Vineyards

ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL WILL PERFORM at the RUSTIC yet ELEGANT RANCH of
GALANTE VINEYARDS in CARMEL VALLEY for THEIR 2012 SUMMER SOUNDS CONCERT.

CARMEL VALLEY, CA. – Only the timeless and lively band Asleep at the Wheel could survive a successful forty-year music industry career, a tour with Bob Dylan and a hit album recorded with Willie Nelson, while winning nine shining Grammys. By the request of the community and the help of Galante Vineyards, this hit country western band will grace Carmel Valley with a hoe-down swinging concert at the rustic, yet elegant landscape of Galante Vineyards on Saturday, July 21st, 2012.

Galante Vineyards is thrilled to once again bring back one of the most recognized western swing-bands of all time. “I wanted to re-birth a string of exceptional shows that has been dearly missed by the community. It seems daily, I’ve been asked to bring back the concert series to the vineyards. I felt compelled to bring back the well received classic and timeless country western band Asleep by the Wheel,” says Jack Galante of Galante Vineyards.

The 2012 Summer Sounds Concert will be delivering quality live music that will join both wine and music lovers alike, all set on the picturesque 700 acre ranch in the Carmel Valley hills. This July, local favorites Red Beans & Rice is set to open the show and kick-off the day’s festivities, with a delicious barbeque meal being available for purchase, as well as Galante Vineyards wine by the glass or bottle purchases.

Concert goers are encouraged to dress comfortably with cowboy attire more than welcome. Cozy-comforts needed for lawn-seating should include low-lawn chairs (no more than 30” in height), a blanket, a large-brim hat and possibly some sun-block. Table seats are available for the fans that would like reserved and shaded seats.

The 2012 Summer Concert Sounds will most undoubtedly be an incredible day, doused with an up-close and personal concert with the nine-time Grammy winning band Asleep by the Wheel, filled with the warm Carmel Valley sun, fantastic wine, great food and good old fashion fun amongst the vineyard and rolling hill views.

The concert hours are from 2:00pm to 6:00pm with ticket prices set at $55 for lawn-seats and $75 for reserved table seats, which includes one drink coupon. Whole tables can be purchased for a discount of ten percent and also include one drink coupon per seat.
