Jeninni Kitchen + Wine Bar will be hosting an epic fried chicken + bubbles pop-up dinner with Master Sommelier Chris Blanchard on Sunday, October 23, 2016. Blanchard’s fried chicken will be the centerpiece for a three-course dinner prepared by Jeninni executive chef Matthew Zimny and Glazer Food & Beverage chef-owner Matt Glazer. Scott Caraccioli – owner of Caraccioli Cellars — will showcase local Monterey County sparkling wines, including Caraccioli’s own 2008 Brut Cuvee served ‘en ‘magnum.’
Jeninni’s fried chicken + bubbles dinner will mark the sixth dinner for Blanchard’s popular popup series celebrating the hip-hop artist turned sommelier’s Southern roots. Blanchard promises a fun and festive evening, and will serve as both host and DJ for the evening.
Jeninni owner and sommelier Thamin Saleh has selected a menu of sparkling wines to accompany the fried chicken. Saleh teases a lively show during dinner, as he and Blanchard will both be sabering magnum bottles of sparkling wine for the delight of diners.
The prix fixe fried chicken dinner will be available for $36 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Sparkling wine selections will be available for purchase by the glass and by the bottle.
