The downtown Carmel by the Sea Centennial Celebration Parade will begin at 10:40 a.m. on Oct. 29 and will feature local wine and food, costumed residents, dancers, musicians, dogs, horses, vintage cars and premier floats being built by the same company that constructs floats for Pasadena’s Tournament of Roses Parade. The Wells Fargo Stagecoach will be making its first appearance in a Carmel parade in more than 20 years.

Clint Eastwood, world-acclaimed actor and director, will be the Grand Marshal of Centennial Celebration Parade. Eastwood, who served as Carmel’s mayor in the 1980s and has resided here for many years, will be riding shotgun on top of the Wells Fargo Stagecoach during the parade commemorating the town’s 100-year anniversary.
