Join Cima Collina for an evening in the cellar, as they wrap up harvest and honor family-owned Palisades Vineyard – one of those precious secret places in the heart of Carmel Valley, treasured by Winemaker Annette Hoff Danzer for its Pinot Noir.
Palisades Vineyard is situated just above the Carmel River on a site of rocky, sandy loam soil combined with decomposed granite on a south-facing exposure. The vineyard receives its daily nurturing from owners John Stafnes and Iathan Annand. Planted in 2005, the vineyard has been exclusively used for Cima Collina wines with the first vineyard-designated release in 2012.
Local Chef Jerome Viel will present four-courses to complement Cima Collina’s 2012, 2013 and 2014 vintages of Palisades Vineyard Pinot Noir, in addition to aging selections from Winemaker Annette Hoff Danzer’s cellar.
