Originally from Derry, Ireland, singer/songwriter/guitarist Keith Harkin has been singing his way into the hearts of music lovers since the age of four. While touring in the United States as lead soloist for Celtic Thunder, Keith caught the eye of Grammy Award-winning Producer David Foster. Mr. Foster signed him to Verve Records and produced Keith’s self-titled debut album in 2012, which reached the number 1 spot on the Billboard charts. His second album, On Mercy Street, was released in 2016 and takes a different, deeper, more personal direction into Keith’s musical styling.  Keith takes you on a journey that creeps into your heart strings.

Opening for Keith is Santa Cruz-based artist Taylor Rae. She began writing original songs at age 10 and has since recorded three CDs, including her newest album, Getting High to Stay Low. With her own genre she calls “Soul & Roll,” Taylor melds together R&B, jazz, funk/rock and blues, a style that earned her 2017 Santa Cruz NEXTies “Musician of the Year.”

Keith Harkin will be bringing his acoustic, folk, pop, rock sound to the stage at Folktale Winery and Vineyard’s Barrel Room on Wednesday, October 4th.
