Join more forty stellar wineries pouring some of the world’s best Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah – all from the Santa Lucia Highlands. For many of our artisan vintners, this is their one public tasting of the year.
The setting is dramatic Mer Soleil Winery, a venue not normally open to the public. The wines? Ninety-plus point, limited release gems from the likes of Morgan, Kosta Browne, Mer Soleil, Belle Glos, Siduri, Testarossa, Roar, and Pisoni. The food will have a distinct local flavor with gourmet bites from several of the region’s best chefs, including Todd Fisher from Tarpy’s, Tim Wood from Carmel Valley Ranch, Cal Stamenov from Bernardus Lodge, James Waller from the Monterey Plaza Hotel, Brad Briske from La Balena, and many more. There’s a rare, “big bottle” silent auction, live music, and other surprises.
We’re finalizing the pouring roster but SLH member wineries likely to pour at this year’s Gala include: American Thread, August West, Belle Glos, Bernardus, Black Kite, Boekenoogen, Brack Mountain, Bruliam, Hahn Family Wines, Hope & Grace, J. Lohr Highlands Bench, J. McFarland, Joyce, Kosta Browne, La Rochelle, Loring, Luli, Mansfield – Dunne, Manzoni, McIntyre, Mer Soleil, Miner, Miura, Mooney, Morgan, Pessagno, Pisoni / Lucia, Puma Road, Roar, Sarah’s Vineyard, Scheid, Siduri and Novy, Smith Family Wines, Talbott, Tantara, Testarossa, Tondre, Tudor, Twomey, Windstream, and Wrath.
