Folktale is kicking off their Esalen Speaker Series with Peter Meyers delivering a presentation titled “Finding Your Voice” in their Wine Garden. Peter Meyers is Founder and President of Stand & Deliver, a global communications and leadership consulting and training firm based in California. Stand & Deliver inspires teams and individuals to speak with greater confidence, authenticity, clarity and passion. Over the past 12 years, Peter Meyers has worked in 27 countries around the world with nearly every kind of organization and individual, from political leaders to Fortune 100 corporations; stock exchanges to think tanks, and global banks to Ivy League universities. This is a fundraising event, with a suggested $25 minimum donation, with proceeds being donated to the Soberanes Fire Fund at the Community Foundation of Monterey County. Folktale Winery and Vineyards welcomes Kate from Esalen as the host for “Yoga in the Vines” from 10-11:30 am! Classes are $20, which includes the cost of the class AND a complimentary glass of Folktale wine after! Classes will be held in the new Rose Vineyard (located just left of the Barrel Room). Kate will take you through a 90 minute Balanced Yoga Flow before you get to enjoy a glass of wine in our Wine Garden. Below is a short bio about Kate as well as as description of Balanced Yoga Flow! About Kate Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, a Holistic Health Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Certification through Vinyasa Yoga School in Rishikesh, India. She has been trained in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga- asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy and yoga therapy. She is also a Reiki 1 & 2 practitioner.
